Fleet Logistics Squadron Five Six (VR-56) provides around-the world logistical support to all branches of our Armed Forces. VR-56 has also been the head of an Executive Transport mission which carries the Secretary of the Navy, the Chief of Naval Operations, and many U.S. Congressional personnel and other VIPs throughout the world.

VR-56 is under the operational and administrative command of Commander Naval Reserve Forces (CNRF). We fly the C-2 Greyhound, C-12 Huron, C-20/C-37 Gulfstream, C-40 Clipper, C-9 Skytrain and C-130 Hercules

vUSN VR-56 operations are headquartered at Ft. Worth NAS (KNFW), Texas. Squadron aircraft are available from the Download section of this site.  A number of aircraft/panel/sound configurations for squadron aircraft can be found from various websites including the vUSN aircraft hangar, Flightsim.com and Avsim.com. Squadron operations/training events occur periodically as well as fleet wide deployments and exercises.
